The survival horror world just got a major jolt — ILL, the grotesque and highly mysterious body horror game from Team Clout, re-emerged at Summer Game Fest 2025 with a disturbing new gameplay trailer that’s as haunting as it is fascinating.

For horror fans who crave tension, gore, and psychological dread, this trailer is a feast. We finally get an extended, gut-churning look at ILL’s visceral dismemberment mechanics, showcasing the game’s brutal physics and grisly enemy designs. Set within the decaying halls of a research facility overrun by terrifying Aberrations, ILL thrusts players into a desperate mission to rescue something (or someone?) deeply personal — and deeply hidden.

Team Clout isn’t holding back either. Promising a “realistic and terrifying experience”, the studio is blending gore, advanced physics, and immersive binaural audio to make players feel every gruesome snap, crunch, and scream.

ILL first turned heads back in 2021 with a cryptic concept trailer, but has remained largely under wraps until now. This marks the most substantial reveal to date — and it delivers on the chilling potential the early footage hinted at.

Backed by the Mundfish Powerhouse initiative (yes, the same folks behind Atomic Heart), ILL is shaping up to be a twisted debut from Team Clout — one that’s already crawling under the skin of horror fans worldwide.
